Four GPs venture out of their surgeries and on to the streets of Britain. Dr George, Dr Barbara, Dr Jonty and Dr Ayan are hard at work in Birmingham, where the women are amongst the most overweight in the country and where there are more cases of diabetes than almost anywhere else in England. Amongst the patients are 78-year-old ballet dancer Marie with suspected osteoporosis, Sandra, who's worried she has bowel cancer, and Zak, whose crippling headaches stop him from earning a living.
