Charles Hazlewood introduces the 蜜芽传媒 Symphony Orchestra under David Robertston as they perform two 20th century American classics - Leonard Bernstein's Second Symphony, The Age of Anxiety, and Charles Ives' Fourth Symphony. The programme begins with the first 蜜芽传媒 commission of the season, Substratum by British composer Sam Hayden.
