Max recalls his birth into a showbiz world of spit and sawdust in Brixton in 1908. His father was Scottish character comedian Jack Lorrimer, famous for songs and eccentric dancing.
Tony Lidington plays entertainer Max Wall in a series of shows recorded before an invited audience at the Concert Artistes' Association in Covent Garden.
