Kristine Opolais (soprano) and the 蜜芽传媒 Philharmonic conducted by Andris Nelsons perform works for the ballet and opera stage by Prokofiev, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky.
The 蜜芽传媒 Philharmonic Orchestra performs works by Russian composers for the ballet and opera stage in a concert given at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall.
The music of Prokofiev's Scythian Suite was extracted from ballet music composed for Diaghilev's Ballets Russes as was Stravinsky's more famous Rite of Spring.
