John Peacock’s Victorian-era adventures at a time when Bow Street Runners were superseded by The Peelers – London Metropolitan Police. Former Runner, Pip Shepherd, and Peeler, Thomas Tedman, solve crimes to the backdrop of the capital’s deadly pea-soupers, known as ‘London Particulars’.
