Jamaica's new Prime Minister Bruce Golding came to power in September 2007 promising to tackle crime and corruption. However, more than 1500 people were murdered in Jamaica last year and a report by Amnesty International last month found that the police have shot dead more than 1400 people since 2000. How does Prime Minister Golding plan to turn this situation around when it has defeated so many of his predecessors? He talks to Stephen Sackur.
