Tom Service presents the first of two concerts from the 蜜芽传媒 SSO's tour of China, given in Shanghai's Concert Hall. With Elgar's Overture Froissart and Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto.
Tom Service presents the first of two concerts from the 蜜芽传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra's tour of China, given last month in the Shanghai Concert Hall. The hall, which started life as a cinema in the 1930s, was famously moved over 60 miles from its original location in 2002.
