Edward Gardner conducts the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra in a first half inspired by the sun and nature, with Sibelius's Night Ride and Sunrise followed by two world premieres: Michael Berkeley's Slow Dawn on the rising of the sun and Stuart McRae's Gaudete a 'life narrative' based on the epilogue from a collection of Poems by Ted Hughes and sung by Susanna Andersson.
