Do you welcome the launch of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Alba?
Graham Stewart takes your calls on the launch of the new Gaelic TV channel, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Alba, and asks whether it's long overdue, or just a waste of money on what is a minority language?
The new Gaelic television channel, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Alba, starts its first full week of programmes tonight, but it will only be available on satellite until at least 2010. Do you welcome the fact that Gaelic now has a degree of broadcast parity with its Irish and Welsh equivalents, or is funding minority languages a waste of public money? Is a television channel the best way to preserve the language?
Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
