Music, inspiration and conversation with soprano Lesley Garrett. Lesley is joined by guests including Russell Watson, who debate how to enjoy Christmas in the credit crunch.

Britain's favourite soprano, Lesley Garrett, presents an hour of music, inspiration and conversation as Christmas Voices returns for its second series.

The four programmes feature a collection of Lesley's musical friends They'll be joined by guests on film and in the studio, talking about a range of seasonal faith topics.

Lesley's first musical guest will be the tenor known as the "The Voice", Salford's own Russell Watson. He'll be live in the studio talking to Lesley and performing a song from his new album. There will also be music from the first of our feature choirs from across the UK - the fantastic Lindley Junior School Choir from Huddersfield.

This week's panellists will be debating how to enjoy Christmas in the credit crunch, and we'll see how one family will be taking a very different approach this year. We also join a Sikh family to see how they celebrate at this time of year.
