Lea Chishugi

Stephen Sackur talks to Leah Chishugi who campaigns on behalf of rape victims in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Stephen Sackur talks to newsmakers and personalities from across the globe.

Leah Chishugi describes herself as a survivor. She survived the Rwandan genocide in 1994 and made her way to London and a new life. But in 2008 she went back to that part of eastern Congo which borders Rwanda, driven by a determination to do something about the plight of women in a land where rape has become a weapon of war.
