American conductor Andrew Litton returns to London to direct the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra in a performance from the Barbican. Soprano Soile Isokowski sings a selection of Strauss songs with orchestral accompaniment, following the premiere of a ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ commission, Phoenix, by Yorkshire-born composer Vic Hoyland.
