The trainee sorcerers tackle their first magic discipline, a trick with animals. To inspire them, the Sorcerer has invited the exciting animal magic act, Animalgique.

With the help of the Magic HQ staff, the sorcerees put the finishing touches to their routines, but Toby cannot control his snake and Miss Evans is suspicious that Holly has not been practising. While the others struggle, lucky magic ticket winner Elizabeth, safe from elimination, gets a very special audience with the Sorcerer.

Mr Knight and Miss Evans go head to head in another Teacher Challenge. The novice magicians take to the stage for the first time; for two it will also be their last time.
