In need of a change of scene, Tom and Roy take up Sally's offer of a week in a Highland croft, where she was going to stay with her boyfriend, Mark, before his untimely death.

Roy settles in to country life, but Tom is soon bored to tears. With nothing to do, Tom invites Amber to their country idyll, on the condition that she brings a big bag of DVDs. As she has just split up with Sally's son, Steve, Amber readily agrees.

After a night in the pub, Amber picks up Malcolm, a local man, and takes him back to the croft. Unfortunately for her, Sally then arrives unexpectedly with Steve. Tom must ensure that Steve does not find out about Malcolm, while also dealing with the possibility that the croft is haunted.

During all of these distractions, will Roy seize his chance to ask Sally if she would consider moving to the country permanently with him?
