Part 2

Five single mums and their kids share a house with five single fathers and their children. Weekend dad Sam takes over control of the mansion and must send four parents out to work.

Social experiment in which five single mums from all over Britain move into a large Somerset mansion with their kids for a month and are joined by five single fathers and their children. Will the single mums find out if communal living with men is better than living on their own?

Weekend dad and workaholic Sam takes over control of the mansion. With the commune rapidly running out of money Sam needs to send four of the other parents out to work.

Richard is sent out to help with a carpet fitting business and ends up getting more out of work than just money. Jon has always worried that he couldn't work because of soaring childcare costs, but his shift at a tractor plant forces a change of heart.

For Sam the workers are his big success, but keeping the mansion running smoothly is the hardest job of all.
