Four Easter miniatures from J S Bach's Orgel-Buchlein are played by York Minster's organist John Scott Whiteley at the Stadtkirche 'Zur Gotteshilfe', Waltershausen in Germany. The miniatures are: Christ lag in Todesbanden (BWV 625),
Jesus Christus, unser Heiland (BWV 626), Erstanden ist der heil'ge Christ (BWV 628) and Erschienen ist der herrliche Tag (BWV 629).

The dramatic interpretation of the music is enhanced by a variety of filming techniques. Cameras inside the organ reveal the mechanical works whilst aerial shots are captured from small helium-filled balloons.
