Nina looks at different inventions and finds out how they work. With the help of her trusty neurons, she examines the items to answer children's questions.

Emma, Tara and Hannah ask Nina what makes those little lights in the middle of the road shine. The little lights are cats' eyes, and when the girls come down to Nina's workshop, she takes one apart and discovers retroflectors.
