Petroc Trelawny

Petroc Trelawny presents clarinettist Sarah Williamson and pianist John Reid performing in the studio ahead of Sarah's Wigmore Hall recital. She performs Poulenc's clarinet sonata.

Clarinettist Sarah Williamson and pianist John Reid perform in the studio in advance of Sarah's Wigmore Hall recital. She performs the Poulenc clarinet sonata.

Also featuring pianist Mark Bebbington who talks to Petroc about his new CD of music by John Ireland and his concert at Civic Hall, Stratford upon Avon. There he will be performing the world premiere of Arnold Bax's Concertino for Piano and Orchestra.

Plus Tamsin Waley-Cohen also joins Petroc in the studio to talk about the first public performance of the newly discovered Guirne Creith violin concerto. The score was found in a piano shop that was going bust, and returned to the late composer's two sons.
