Dan Walker and expert guests preview 2009/10 Premier League football fixtures, and also look back at 2010 World Cup qualifying games, assessing the ramifications of the results for the home nations.
Having mastered Liverpool in the opening game of the season, Tottenham now welcome champions Manchester United to White Hart Lane. Premier League new boys Burnley upset Manchester United in their first home game of the campaign - now the Clarets tackle Liverpool. Meanwhile, Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure face an early reunion with their old team-mates as Manchester City host Arsenal.
This is the first batch of Premier League fixtures since the summer transfer window shut and there is a look at how the teams are set for the long stretch until it opens again in January.
