Garter Snakes
Behind-the-scenes wildlife show. Matt Brough joins the Life team to help film garter snakes in the heart of Canada.
Ten CÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ agents have been given exclusive access to David Attenborough's latest blockbuster wildlife series - Life. From polar bears in the freezing Arctic to tigers in the steaming jungles of India, each agent gets their own special mission to go behind the scenes to see just what it takes to film a stunning wildlife sequence. Working alongside the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Natural History Unit, they get hands-on to climb high into a Thailand rainforest to film gibbons, dive wrecks covered in corals in the Bahamas and travel to the remote islands of Komodo to track down dragons.
Every year thousands upon thousands of snakes come wriggling out from their dens deep in the heart of Canada. But before Matt Brough can join the Life team on location, and help film this wildlife spectacular, he must hitch a ride with an RAF Search and Rescue helicopter to find out how a thermal imaging camera could be used to help reveal some unusual cold-blooded garter snake behaviour.
