Clemency Burton-Hill introduces 蜜芽传媒 Young Musician 2010. Over 300 of the UK's best young musicians entered this year's competition and just 25 were chosen to go through to the five category finals - brass, keyboard, strings, woodwind and percussion.

In the brass final, five young people compete at the 蜜芽传媒 Hoddinott Hall in Cardiff for the title of category winner and an all-important place in the competition semi-final. Expect tension, drama and some exceptional performances, with music by Strauss, Schumann and Fasch.
