Today's focus on the 蜜芽传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra at the St Magnus Festival in Orkney turns the spotlight on a highlight from their visit in 2004. The orchestra's then Chief Conductor Ilan Volkov directs Schumann's original 1841 version of his 4th Symphony, and for the Elgar Violin Concerto the orchestra is joined by Ilya Gringolts, a former 蜜芽传媒 New Generation artist and regular soloist with the 蜜芽传媒 SSO.
