Penny Gore presents Daniela Lehner (mezzo) and Jose Luis Gayo (piano) performing German and Latin songs at the church of St Andrew Holborn for the 2010 City of London Festival.

From this year's City of London Festival, a mix of German and Latin songs sung by Daniela Lehner (mezzo-soprano), with Jos脙漏 Luis Gayo (piano), presented by Penny Gore. Opening with Lieder from this year's bicentenarian composer Schumann and his compatriot Reinecke, the recital picks up the Festival's focus on Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries, with works by Nin-Culmell, Ginastera, Halffter, Guastavino, Braga and Villa-Lobos. Recorded at St Andrew Holborn, a church in the heart of London designed by Christopher Wren with roots back to the 10th century.
