Night
Penelope K answers children's questions at the Information Station. Penelope K discovers what causes night.
Penelope K runs the Information Station, a place which contains all the answers to any question a child might have. To help her find the answers, Penelope is joined by her sock puppet, Squirm; Hank and Frank, two wise cracking fish; Trewey, the shadow rabbit, and music is provided by the Rubber Band.
The probing question of what causes night really has Penelope K in a spin. Has it something to do with sailing around the world, spinning till you get dizzy or what a rabbit can do in one day? When she accidentally gathers together a spinning earth mobile and a desk lamp she sees a visual demonstration of the earth spinning away from the sun.
