Donald Runnicles makes his first Proms appearance as Chief Conductor of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra in an all-British programme featuring former ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Young Musician of the Year Nicola Benedetti in her Prom debut. The concert features Vaughan Williams' choral masterpiece written for sixteen solo singers and orchestra as a tribute to Proms founder, Henry Wood. Tonight's performance showcases singers from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
