Amateur film footage of Britain gives a moving and intimate view of our social history. This programme features new material and extended versions of the footage shown in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Movie Roadshow.
The films are set to music with captions to provide a historical context to the home movies. This programme features two sides of the late 70s - the Queen's Silver Jubilee and punk. There's a portrait of family life in the 1930s and amazing footage of from one of the divers on the salvage of Henry VIII's favourite ship, the Mary Rose.
