Richard and his Lab Rats tackle alternative energies. First up, the Lab Rats investigate whether alternative fuels can take on petrol, the traditional fuel for cars. The Alternative Relay Race sees the Lab Rats pit a chocolate-powered car and an electric car against two cars powered by petrol.
Back in the studio, The Crazy Hypers and Halling Blasters explore wind power in the tricky challenge Britain's Got Wind. Each team must make it from one end of the studio to the other on skateboards while passing through a wind storm, using a choice of different beach-related items to help propel them.
