It took over two years to compose and stands as one of Arvo P盲rt's deepest expressions of the Orthodox faith. Tonight, a rare complete performance of the composer's 'Kanon Pokajanen', recorded at the 2010 Vale of Glamorgan Festival with the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir.

Plus, Aled Jones explores the phenomenon of TV choral stand-offs: the NBC network is about to follow in the 蜜芽传媒's wake with a $100,000 hunt for America's top vocal group. We hear from one of the entrants, and also the makers of another X-Factor-style show already aired in Finland.
