French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet joins conductor Yan Pascal Tortelier for Debussy's rarely-heard Fantaisie, an early work rich in romantic lyricism and reverie. Hindemith's majestic Concert Music, introduced to British audiences by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra in 1931, raises the curtain on a gloriously melodious programme featuring Musorgsky's hugely enjoyable Pictures at an Exhibition and Ravel's haunting Pavane pour une infante défunte.
