The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ SSO's chief conductor Donald Runnicles talks to Bruce about the art of conducting, and RSAMD student Jessica Cottis reveals how she got on in his conducting masterclass.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra (SSO) and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama (RSAMD) have joined forces to offer students a conducting master-class which will involve the enviable - and daunting! - opportunity of conducting the entire SSO before an audience at Glasgow's City Halls. Chief Conductor of the SSO Donald Runnicles, the RSAMD's Principle John Wallace and the Academy's first post-graduate conducting fellow Jessica Cottis talk to Bruce about the art of conducting.
