Are Sikhs and Kashmiris demanding too much by asking for their own ethnic box on the census? Plus Harjap Bhangal, immigration guru, is here to answer your questions.
At 1- Are Sikhs and Kashmiris demanding too much by asking for their own ethnic box on the UK Census?
British Sikh groups have been campaigning for this for a number of years, but now some British Kashmiri groups are asking for the same thing. They both argue there's a need to recognise the differences between people that have been grouped together in the past - Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshi. Isn't it enough to say your religion makes you different? Are you offended that your ethnicity - as you see - isn't included on the census? And a question for the Sikhs listening - do you think you should put Sikh as your ethnicity?
After 2 - Arguably one of our most popular Gurus is back - Mr Harjap Singh Bhangal will be here to answer all your immigration questions!
