Yorkshire and Lincolnshire
Linda Barker discovers over 11,000 travel posters from the golden age of steam at the National Railway Museum in York, and views the original artwork for the Jolly Fisherman.
Linda Barker reveals some beautiful paintings from Yorkshire and Lincolnshire that are usually hidden from view. She discovers over eleven thousand fascinating travel posters from the golden age of steam at the National Railway Museum in York and, in Skegness, gets a glimpse of the original artwork for the most famous travel poster of them all - the resort's Jolly Fisherman. Linda also comes face to face with an oil painting in Scarborough Town Hall that may have led thousands to their deaths in the Great War.
