Raymond risks losing everything. Big Bob is stuck in the middle as Christina and Iona continue to fight. Is romance back on the cards for Jo and Gabriel?

Raymond and Eileen are at loggerheads as to who will be caring for Stuart today, when they both have so many commitments. Eileen is helping Michael open the Drug Rehabilitation Drop-in Centre and Raymond is expecting a visit from an investor who may be interested in his plans to expand the Tall Ship for family dining. Eileen suggests taking Stuart to a nursery, Raymond says no.

Raymond's left holding the baby as he and Charlie set up the bar for the day. A new face arrives on the scene, a 19-year-old, slightly scruffy, confident and mouthy, Stevie. He winds Raymond up about the lack of service at the very moment businesswoman Kate Carter arrives, representing the potential investors. Raymond is schmoozing with Kate Carter in the bar, showing her the business plan and site of potential development. She appears impressed with his ideas. Departing, cheeky Stevie gives them some lip and Raymond sends him on his way.

Raymond leaves Kate momentarily in the boatyard while he takes baby Stuart to be watched by Gina. As Kate surveys the area, her eye is drawn to some dodgy looking neds (Stevie and co) hanging around outside the Community Centre. She's not impressed and her fears are confirmed when Liz and Malcolm tell her it's a new Drop-in Centre for drug addicts.

Kate feeds back to Raymond that this area (a stones throw from a Drop-in for drug addicts) is not ideal for children and therefore they wouldn't consider investment at this time. Raymond's gutted. As Kate moves to pay for her drinks she realises her purse is missing. Could Stevie have stolen it? Raymond and Kate search for the purse but to no avail. As if on cue, Stevie re-enters the bar and Kate accuses him of theft. He's angry and defensive. How dare she? Kate's exasperated. She has no evidence, but she certainly won't be investing in this area any time soon.

Eileen is giving a speech at the opening of the Drop-in Centre when Gina arrives with a screaming baby Stuart. Eileen takes an executive decision to enrol Stuart in nursery there and then and asks Gina to drop him by taxi to 'AngelTots', where he's already registered. Gina is put out and worried about Raymond's reaction to this, but does it anyway to placate bossy Eileen. As the pub hits afternoon lull time, Raymond phones Gina to take over the care of Stuart only to discover the baby's been delivered to nursery. Furious, Raymond takes the brash decision to close the bar, much to the chagrin of Stevie and pals, and heads off to retrieve his son.

There's a good turnout at the opening of the Drop-in Centre and Eileen is doing a grand job of dealing with questions from the floor. She's on a roll like a true politician. As the audience leaves, she invites some of the dignitaries back to the Tall Ship for a drink. Not knowing, of course, that Raymond has closed the bar. How embarrassing. Only one thing for it, another shouting match with Raymond.

Outside The Tall Ship. Raymond's approached by Stevie who announces he's had his bicycle tyres slashed and accuses Raymond. Raymond tells Stevie to back off, but, being the wee wind-up merchant he is, Stevie keeps jibing until Raymond's at boiling point. Jimmy appears and senses tension. Raymond disappears to his car only to realise it too has a slashed tyre. Raymond is incensed. Stevie appears with a 'Not so funny when it happens to you eh?' comment and Raymond just loses it, lamping him one on the mouth. Stevie crumples as bystanders, Jimmy and Michael come to his aid. What the hell has got in to Raymond?

Michael challenges Raymond on his behaviour and encourages him to apologise. Remorseful, Raymond agrees that's a good plan. He approaches Stevie later in the pub and, brandishing an envelope of cash, suggests 'how about we just forget the whole thing?' Cocky Stevie takes the bribe - nice one Raymond! Michael gets wind of the payment and approaches Raymond and asks what were you thinking giving a wad of cash to an addict? Raymond realises he's a prize numpty and agrees to let Stuart go to nursery, thus putting to bed childcare issues once and for all.

Molly is nipping Big Bob's ear about Christina not pulling her weight around the house, while Christina herself is getting the third degree from Iona about her mum's visit to the Ukraine for a divorce. Christina's had enough of Iona's meddling and confronts her with the accusation that it was she who phoned the police and accused Tatiana of extortion. Iona is dumbfounded.

Christina is getting it in the neck from Molly for not pulling her weight, but she is more concerned with convincing Bob that Iona was the one who reported Tattie to the police. Bob confronts Iona, but she denies it, instead claiming that it was probably Christina herself who did it for attention. Bob actually buys this, but when he tells Christina she can't believe it, and prepares to leave to stay with a friend in Dundee. It is Molly who eventually tracks her down and convinces her to come back, but she isn't happy until Bob asks
