A Tribute to Goff Richards

Frank Renton presents a tribute to leading composer and arranger Goff Richards who created a library of music which stretches around the world.

Frank Renton presents a tribute to leading composer and arranger Goff Richards who wrote some of the most popular and successful music for bands over the last 40 years. A regular arranger on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½1's Songs of Praise, a proud Cornish man (he got his first break from neighbouring Malcolm Arnold back in the 1960s) and a prolific composer/arranger for ensembles of all sizes, including his own bands and orchestra, Goff's natural instinct was to write accessible music that delighted the ear time after time. He was a respected conductor and adjudicator and his music, which has an unmistakable sound and freedom, is played by bands around the world.
