Khatia Buniatishvili, Benjamin Grosvenor

Performances by young pianists featuring at the 2011 Proms. Khatia Buniatishvili performs Liszt's La lugubre gondola, S 200/2, and Benjamin Grosvenor plays Chopin's Scherzo No 4.

An all-piano showcase featuring two talented young New Generation Artist pianists with names very much under the Proms spotlight: British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor this year broke records by appearing as the youngest ever soloist in the First Night of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Proms, and Georgian Khatia Buniatishvili featured in her own Proms Chamber Music recital. Both have just released their first commercial co-production CDs with support from the Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme. From Khatia's new disc, Liszt's La lugubre gondola,and from Benjamin's latest release, Chopin's Scherzo no. 4 in E major.
