Penny Gore presents a week featuring recent concerts by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
They start today with a programme of heroic Strauss and Prokofiev's Fourth Piano Concerto featuring the young Russian pianist Denis Kozhukhin. Plus the chance to hear the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ SSO in an unusual performance of Mendelssohn's Octet with full orchestral strings under conductor Christoph Koenig, and two current Radio 3 New Generation Artists playing Brahms's Double Concerto.
