Penny Gore presents a dazzling afternoon of virtuosity with the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ SSO playing Brahms, Liszt, Bruch and Stravinsky under conductors Stefan Solyom, Andrew Manze and Matthias Pintscher. Radio 3 New Generation Artist Alexandra Soumm performs Max Bruch's First Violin Concerto, probably the best known and loved of all violin concertos, and the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra finish the week with a complete performance of Stravinsky's complete ballet The Firebird.
