Penny Gore presents some recent performances by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Philharmonic. And the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers continue their exploration of five centuries of choral music written for British Royal occasions - with music today by WIlliam Matthias and William Walton. Also this week there's the chance to discover the rarely performed the orchestral music of Carl Maria von Weber - who died in London in 1826. And the main work today is Mahler's Fifth Symphony with its famous Adagietto in a performance given earlier this month at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester.
