Sir Peter Lloyd was the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Office Minister responsible for race relations at the time of the Stephen Lawrence murder case. He told Rhod that there should be a Royal Commission to investigate the failures of management and leadership in the Metropolitan Police that allowed undergover officers to be asked to look for information that could be used to smear the Lawrence family.
