Ian is on a mission to find out who is responsible for damaging his livelihood, and he will not stop until he gets answers. Carl manipulates Kirsty into visiting his mum with him.
Rocked by Jean’s admission, Ian threatens her with the police. Panicked, Jean lets slip others were involved. Ian pursues Jean to the Vic and Kat, Bianca, Shirley, Kim and Denise follow them upstairs. Ian interrogates them all and when he focuses on Bianca, Shirley confesses. Jean’s distressed and something Kat says makes Ian realise Bianca’s also to blame. Phil tells Ian to stay away from Shirley. Bianca flees but Ian follows her home and insists he’s going to the police. Still on probation, Bianca’s terrified. She starts to beg but Ian’s already gone.
Cora has friends round for poker and has emptied Abi’s purse. Dot pays for Abi’s shopping, puts an end to the poker and insists Cora help clean No.5. Abi quickly tires of their constant bickering. However, she and Patrick are unnerved when the two grandmothers then co-operate to prepare lunch.
Carl and Kirsty visit Carl’s mum, Nora. She’s thrilled to see Kirsty, who can’t bring herself to tell Nora she and Carl have broken up. When they’re alone, Nora turns on Carl digging her nails into his hand and calling him pathetic. Later, Kirsty can tell Carl’s been left troubled by the visit.
Roxy’s annoyed to see Danny in the Vic, he suggests they put the past behind them. Alfie gathers everyone to announce his and Roxy’s engagement. Kat puts on a brave face. Michael joins Danny and Janine at a table and starts quizzing Danny. When Janine leaves them alone, Danny winds Michael up, suggesting Michael fancies him and claiming he’d be up for some fun. Michael leaves.
Ava agrees Sam can move in but asks him not to tell Dexter yet. Sam ignores her and Dexter claims he’s fine with it. Ava’s annoyed but Sam talks her round
Shirley moves back into the B&B.
