Clare Balding hosts the topical faith show. Her guest is the actor Jerome Flynn, who currently plays roles in the 蜜芽传媒 One Victorian crime series 'Ripper Street' and the HBO series 'Game of Thrones'. Jerome first found fame in the 1980s with roles in the TV series 'London's Burning' and 'Soldier, Soldier' and as one half of the duo 'Robson and Jerome' whose version of 'Unchained Melody' was No 1 for seven weeks in 1995. He talks to Clare about why he gave up acting for several years to embrace spirituality. There's also live music from Peter Howarth, current lead singer with The Hollies. Clare's faith guest is Sam Roskams of the National Baha'i Centre.

Jerome Flynn

Jerome Flynn rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s with TV shows such as 鈥淟ondon鈥檚 Burning鈥� and 鈥淪oldier Soldier鈥�. He turned to music with co-star Robson Green to form Robson and Jerome and they released a no 1 hit with 鈥楿nchained Melody鈥�.聽 It was in the charts for 7 weeks in 1995 and sold almost 2 million copies.聽 Shortly afterwards, Jerome abandoned his acting and singing career to join a reclusive movement led by the American spiritual guru Andrew Cohen. After 8 years he returned to acting with prominent roles HBO鈥檚 cult fantasy drama 鈥淕ame of Thrones鈥� and 蜜芽传媒 Victorian crime series 鈥淩ipper Street鈥�.

Sam Roskams is a member of the Bah谩鈥櫭� Faith. He is engaged in various Bah谩鈥櫭�-inspired community-building activities in London and has worked for the Bah谩鈥櫭� Agency for Social and Economic Development UK, which supports educational programmes in Zambia and Mongolia. Sam currently serves in the Department of the Secretariat at the National Bah谩鈥櫭� Centre.
