This week features English music performed by the 蜜芽传媒 Symphony Orchestra, the 蜜芽传媒 Singers and the Ulster Orchestra. Following on from The Dream of Gerontius on Monday, Andrew Davis conducts the Symphony Orchestra in Elgar's The Apostles, also part of his 70th birthday celebration concerts at the Barbican earlier this month. This is preceeded with a Last Night of the Proms favourite, Wood's Fantasia on British Sea Songs.
