The Dowling Poole are singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Willie Dowling and Jon Poole - hence the name. Both have long musical pedigrees as writers, producers and musician with Dowling achieving top 40 success with the band Honeycrack, and Poole passing through the ranks of Riley show favourites Cardiacs. They met in 2011 when working on Ginger Wildheart's 555% album and release their Pledge Music funded debut album Bleak Strategies in August.
