Paul Jones talks to blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa about his new album Different Shades of Blue to be released on 22 September. This is Joe's first studio album in two years and the first time he has been involved in composing all of the songs on one of his projects. Recorded in Las Vegas and written in Nashville, Joe's writing partners include Jonathan Cain, James House and Jerry Flowers.
Produced by Joe's longtime collaborator Kevin Shirley, the musicians featured on the album include Reese Wynans (organ and piano), Carmine Rojas (bass), Anton Fig (drums), Lenny Castro (percussion) and Melanie Williams (background vocals).
