Verity Sharp introduces performances from summer music festivals by the 蜜芽传媒 National Orchestra of Wales and celebrates the 蜜芽传媒 Singers at 90. In July the orchestra visited St Davids Cathedral in Pembrokeshire as part of the Fishguard Music Festival, performing William Mathias's Invocation and Dance and Mendelssohn's Third Symphony, the Scottish. In Cardiff later that month, the founder of the Welsh Proms, Owain Arwel Hughes, conducted the orchestra in Smetana, Dvorak and Tchaikovsky - together with violinist Chloe Hanslip.
