VOTE: Do patients need to know their surgeons’ death rates?

Performance data for almost 5,000 surgeons in England in a move towards greater transparency. Using the MyNHS website, patients can search for information, including mortality rates for individual specialists. One surgeons’ association says publishing such information is “crude” and can be misleading. Speciality surgeons also warn it could lead to some consultants refusing difficult cases. 
Is more transparency the way to make us safer-  or could it actually endanger lives?

What should we do about returning jihadists?

The Prime Minister has announced that British jihadists who travel abroad to fight . David Cameron said the special exclusion orders - which could last for two years or more - would bar suspected fighters from entering the UK unless they agreed to strict controls. 
So should we slam the door on returnees or re-educate them?
