Dennett Family
Series in which families try out life overseas. A mum wants to move to Australia, but her husband is set on somewhere closer to home.
With dad Wayne spending the last five years working in Afghanistan for months at a time, the Dennett family is determined to spend more time together. Mum Karen's become exhausted juggling work with bringing up the children and believes Australia's the perfect place to make a new start. But Wayne thinks the answer lies much closer to home - his preferred option would be to move to Cornwall.
When the family spends a trial period living in Western Australia's capital city Perth, Karen has just one week to persuade her husband it's where the family should be living. But will the country and what it has to offer win Wayne round, or will Karen's dream of a life in Australia bite the dust forever?

Dennett family update
The Dennetts are still in the UK, but the day after returning from Australia the family submitted their Visa application. They鈥檙e currently awaiting checks being completed.
Because of the delay, Wayne accepted another contract working abroad for a couple of months, but is now back in the UK and enjoying more time with the family.聽 Karen handed in her notice at work and is due to finish in April, by which time she hopes everything will be in place to move down under.
The family鈥檚 determined to move down under and have put their house on the market in preparation for the move.
