Steve Lamacq takes his show to the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.

Steve Lamacq takes his 蜜芽传媒 6 Music show to the South By South West Festival in Austin, Texas. Last year saw Steve return to Austin, for the first time since his inaugural trip in 2008, the year he took an unknown Florence and The Machine with him to expose her musical talents to an international audience. Then, in 2014, Steve hosted a 蜜芽传媒 Introducing showcase, with an unknown Royal Blood and Public Service Broadcasting sharing a bill, and setting them on the path to success. Now, Steve returns to find the best and most exciting new music in the world. He will again host a 蜜芽传媒 Introducing Showcase, this year he's joined by indie noise makers Spring King, Stockport rockers Blossoms, the delicate sounds of SOAK, London based band Gengahr, rapper and singer Little Simz and super-songwriter Jack Garratt. Steve will be broadcasting two shows from the festival, on the Thursday 19th and Friday 20th March. There will be a very special South By South West Roundtable, with Huw Stephens and Frank Turner. A stripped back performance from Catfish and the Bottlemen and all the colour and sounds from Austin's famous 6th Street.
