Rapal brings together a strong collection of young musicians with a penchant for traditional, contemporary & self-penned songs. Emma Lamont introduces LIVE sets from Skerryvore, a multi-award winning folk-rock band who celebrate their 10th anniversary this year, and Eleanor Nicolson, a singer/songwriter from Stornoway. Iain 'Spanish' Mackay from Lewis will also perform songs from his first solo EP released earlier this year. Completing the list are Macanta - a five piece band led by D貌l Eoin Mackinnon. With strong roots in the Western isles, the band blends Scottish Gaelic, Americana and folk music to create an inspiring sound.
