Rachmaninov's Vespers

Penny Gore presents the Rachmaninov Vespers, one of the greatest works of the Russian Orthodox Church, recently performed by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Chorus. Then continuing a week of recent recordings made by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra, Penny Gore presents Elgar's 1st Symphony conducted by Edward Gardner and soprano Anna Prohaska singing Five Shakespeare Sonnets by Rufus Wainwright.
